SAN DIEGO | Coin-Op Game Room North Park tells you all you need to know about itself in the name. It’s a bar with an arcade games and pinball machines, and the machines take up the entirety of one side of the venue. With games like Street Fighter, Double Dragon, Mortal Kombat II, Mario Kart and, Marvel Vs. Capcom, it’s easy to see why this place is popular with a 30+ crowd.
Food and drinks are perfectly acceptable, with the highlight being the strong craft beer list. Cocktails are sweet and largely uninspired, with names inspired by the games while food is hot dogs, sandwiches and a few snacks. Does this really matter no? The reason you’re coming here is to play the games and have fun and trust us, you will have a lot of fun as you battle your friends for supremacy.
