SAN DIEGO | Belching Beaver has experienced rapid growth since it was established in 2012, and one of the best places to try their lauded beers is their North Park tasting room, which opened in 2013. It’s a relatively small space that has a cosier feel than some of the more industrial taprooms in the area. The space fits up to 100 patrons, is dog-friendly, and has lots of board games to play.
On the 24 taps are Belching Beaver’s core range of beers and special brews, as well as other underrepresented boutique breweries from California that are hard to find in San Diego. Belching Beaver is best known for its award winning Beavers Milk Stout and their Peanut Butter Milk Stout, but they also brew other beers like IPAs, sours and pale ales too.
For those looking for a feed, there’s no kitchen however there are food trucks on site Thu-Sat, and you can bring in outside food or order delivery.
