PERTH | Alabama Song Bar sees Clint Nolan (Sneaky Tony’s, Joe’s Juice Joint) have a shot at creating a bar inspired by the Deep South of the USA and just like his other two venues, he’s nailed the theme once more. Walk up the stairs of the same building that houses Joe’s Juice Joint and push though the saloon-style swinging doors and you enter a low lit space full of on theme American paraphernalia and the sound of honky tonk and rockabilly music playing through the speakers. Depending on the night, you might also find a DJ spinning vinyl or a live band playing on the small stage towards the back.

The focus of the drinks menu is American whiskey, bourbon and rye, and there are are over 130 different kinds to choose from. Staff are very knowledgable and will help you navigate your way though the list if you need. If it’s not straight or on the rocks that you want, there’s an assortment of tasty cocktails, along with a few wines and beer on tap and in cans. Food wise its a small menu of things like a cheeseburger, fried chicken, and wings. Complimentary peanuts add a nice touch too.
