TOKYO | Ant ‘n Bee is one of the original Tokyo craft beer bars, and has been serving patrons great beer in Roppongi until 6:00am, every night of the week since 2010. It’s a small basement bar, with a bit of a British pub feel about it, and room for around 35 people. The beer list, which features 20 rotating taps, is well worth seeking out, featuring a line up of exclusively Japanese beer. Think breweries like Sankt Gallen, Shiga Kogen, Minoh, Yo-Ho, and Iwate Kura. The food here is surprisingly good and the menu extensive given the small spot. There’s a mixture of Japanese and Western dishes – all great options when you’re having that early morning drink.

Do be aware that, given its location, Ant ‘n Bee is more expensive than some of Tokyo’s other craft beer spots, and it’s not completely non-smoking.
