Celebrate Halloween With Cadbury Street Treat

MELBOURNE | Halloween in Australia. Some love it and others say it’s an American thing that doesn’t work in this country. Regardless of where you stand on the issue there’s one thing that we can all agree on, and that is the fact that chocolate is great.

The residents of Maitland Street in Glen Iris enjoy both Halloween and chocolate, and each year they transform their street into a Halloween themed one, and hold a Halloween street party for residents. Cadbury thought this was pretty cool and decided to chip in this year to help the local community put on their biggest Maitland Street Halloween party ever. From 4:30pm to 6:30pm on Saturday 31 October, Maitland Street will transform into Cadbury Street Treat. Open to anyone who can make it, Cadbury Street Treat will feature non-stop entertainment, party games, a community BBQ and thousands of free Cadbury treats.

Paul founded The City Lane back in 2009 as a place to share photos of his travels around Europe with friends and family. The City Lane might have changed quite a lot since those early days but one thing that’s remained constant is Paul’s passion for food, travel and culture, and a desire to photograph and write about his experiences. Paul has a strong inquisitive nature that drives him to look beneath the surface in order to discover what really makes a city and its people tick, and what better way to do this than over a good meal or drink, with a city’s locals, at places that people who live in that city actually frequent. Paul is also a co-host of The Brunswick Beer Collective, a podcast that may or may not actually be about beer.
