OLLANTAYTAMBO | Choco Museo (Ollantaytambo) is a chocolate museum and cafe chain found throughout South America. As the name suggests, chocolate is what this place is all about, and visitors can learn about the history of cacao from the Mayas until today, the introduction of cacao into Peru and the production and preparation of chocolate.

You can also take classes on a variety of chocolate related topics and make things like truffles, bean-to-bar chocolate, and complete meals that incorporate chocolate as an ingredient.

Meanwhile at the cafe you can taste some of Choco Museo’s chocolates, browse their selection of liqueurs, teas and beauty products, and enjoy a hot or iced chocolate. We recommend going for the rich, chilli infused Mayan hot chocolate.
