SANTIAGO | COFI is a third wave coffee shop in Santiago’s Providencia neighbourhood that has been brewing fantastic coffee since 2012.
The staff here really know their stuff. They’re all certified by the Chilean Coffee Institute and can explain the properties of all of the roasts and beans on offer, and methods of preparation.
Beans are sourced ethically from Africa and South America, and are roasted and ground on site. A variety of preparations are available, like Chemex, siphon, and espresso based drinks. If it’s a cold drink you’re after, try one of their signature creations, the “ristretto tonic” which is a double ristretto served with orange and lemon over ice.
There’s no kitchen on site, but there is a selection of cakes and pastries on offer.
