SANTIAGO | Colmado is a small cafe in Santiago’s Barrio Lastarria tucked away down courtyard off the main street. The cafe has a relaxed, chill atmosphere and is a great spot if you’re looking for quality coffee and a bite to eat.
There’s the full range of brewing methods offered like AeroPress, Chemex, Siphon, and espresso, and you can choose between simple coffee drinks or more creative lattes. Beans are sourced from ethical grower and roasters, and the quality of the coffee is great. If you don’t want coffee, there’s also things like tea and freshly squeezed juices.
For food it’s things like house made salads and sandwiches, cakes and pastries fantastic freshly baked bread. For those with dietary requirements, there’s also a very decent selection of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. There’s even a small selection of locally produced deli items available to go like cheese, cold meats and olives.
