MEDELLIN | Dolce Gelato By Amor Acuya is the Caicedo outlet of gelato shop Amor Acuya. Amor Acuya have a reputation for selling some of the best gelato in Medellin, and have won awards for several of the creations.
Most famously in 2016 owner Daniela Lince Ledesma won the South American edition of the Carpigiani Gelato University ‘Gelato World Tour’. She also took home third place in the Global edition of the same event. The award was for her chocolate and passion fruit gelato. We highly recommend trying the flavour. It has a wonderfully fresh passion fruit flavour and just the right balance of Colombian chocolate.
The milk based gelato here are creamy and strike the right balance between the flavours that are included, while the fruit-based gelato and sorbet uses real fruit to really capture the freshness and flavour of the fruit.
