SAN DIEGO | Florent Restaurant & Lounge is a bar in Gaslamp that’s perfect for those looking to watch some live sports or enjoy some live music. There are lots of screens dotted throughout the bar, meaning you’ve got a pretty good view no matter where you are in the venue. The 1874 Old City Hall building is split into various zones, and takes on a different atmosphere depending on the time of day you visit. During the day it’s a casual bar serving modern American cuisine and by night it’s more of a club atmosphere here.
The cocktail list is extensive, and the beer list is surprisingly decent, with 26 taps serving mostly craft beers from breweries like Alesmith, Ballast Point, Modern Times and Saint Archer. We don’t know if we’d spend an entire night here, but if you’re in the area it’s a good option for a drink, especially if you can nab one of the outside tables which provide prime positioning for watching the world go by.
