TOKYO | The Hasegawa Saketen (GranSta) in Tokyo Station is one of the shops run by highly regarded sake retail brand, Hasegawa Saketen. They’ve built a reputation since 1960 for selling some of the best artisan sake produced by small, independent sake brewers across Japan. Expect to see sake like Juyondai from Yamagata or Dassai from Yamaguchi. As well as sake, Hasegawa Saketen also sell shochu, umeshu (plum wine), and wine.
Unfortunately the small bar where you could try sake is no longer part of the store, but it’s still worth stopping by if you want to pick up some quality sake.
