TOKYO | Kura Chika Yoshida (Porter Bags) Omotesando store is the reatil flagship of Yoshida & Co., Ltd., a company who have been producing high quality leather goods since 1935. Today, they make much more than leather bags, and are best known for their Porter and Luggage Label brands, which use materials like Italian leather, Egyptian cotton, organic cotton from Texas and various nylon textiles.
We are big fans or Porter’s high quality, made in Japan durable bags and wallets, and have been using their products for years. The products exude timeless style and are generally low-key and classy, although there are a few wacky designs sometimes. Whenever we’re in Tokyo a stop by this store to see what’s new is a must, especially as several products are exclusive to this store.
Porter also collaborates with other brands from time-to-time to create limited edition products – past collaborations have occurred with brands like Beams, Adidas Originals, Apple, and Sony.
