HOBART | Lark Distillery is the waterfront cellar door and bar for this iconic Tasmanian Whisky. Lark Distillery was established in 1992 by Bill Lark and his wife Lyn which at the time was the first distillery since 1839. The couple established the distillery with the aim of seeing whether Tasmania could produce a good single malt whisky. They certainly managed to achieve this by focusing on small batches and using only the finest Tasmanian ingredients.
Located in central Hobart, right near the waterfront, Lark Distillery cellar door is a great location to try an array of whiskys from Lark and other distilleries around the world. If whisky is not your drink of choice, they also have a large array of gin, local beers, great coffee and local Tasmanian cheese boards as options.
