MELBOURNE | Mörk Chocolate Brew House is a small cafe in North Melbourne, where you can sit down and enjoy an assortment of drinks and treats made using Mörk’s famed chocolate.
Mörk was founded in 2012 by Josefin Zernell and Kiril Shaginov, who applied their specialty coffee experience to the world of chocolate. They released their first drinking chocolate blend that year, focusing on traceability, quality and unique origin of ingredients all the way from bean to cup.
Since then, Mörk’s reputation has grown substantially. They retail not just in Australia, but in Japan, the USA, and the UK too.
The North Melbourne brew house has been closed for dine in during lockdown, but you can still order not just their hot chocolate mixes, but various baked treats, take away or delivered to your home.
You can’t go wrong with any of what Mörk offers, but for something uniquely Australian I highly recommend the Australian Natives Drinking Chocolate. It’s a 50% drinking chocolate infused with coconut blossom sugar, lilly pilly, native pepperberry, strawberry gum, lemon myrtle, anise myrtle, tasman salt. Very tasty.
