CHICAGO | As soon as you enter NAHA, an air of class and elegance greets you, and it quickly becomes easy to see why this restaurant is one of Chicago’s Michelin starred restaurants. NAHA is a New American fusion restaurant with strong Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Californian influences on their menu. Each meal starts off with a bread plate that includes a Moroccan spice blend, Italian ciabatta, and Fruit bread – all of which have been made in house by their own pastry chef that very day.

The Moroccan bread is a favorite of ours. The spices are so unique and it has the perfect level of flavor without being overpowering. To begin your meal, check out the Burrata starter. This Italian cow’s milk burrata served with prosciutto, arugula, byaldi, almonds, and grilled ciabatta – it’s out of this world.

For main dishes, the Risotto and the Quail are both great choices. The Risotto is served with hearts of palm, baby artichokes, oven-cured tomatoes, and mustard greens. As for the quail, it is served over a bed of soft corn polenta with asparagus, oyster mushrooms, scallions, and Kurobuta Berkshire pork belly. For those who have never experienced quail, NAHA is a great spot to have your first experience. The polenta is excellently prepared and the pork belly is grade A, melt in your mouth deliciousness.

It’s not just the food that stands out here – the service at NAHA is incredible. Waitstaff appear even before you know you need them, but are never overbearing or in the way. Operating as the silent (until prompted) hand that guides your experience, we are big fans of all the great people create the NAHA experience. They truly were amazing and a friendly bunch.

For those in the Chicago area, we encourage you to add NAHA to your dining list. It’s the perfect spot for a date, treat yourself dinner or even business dining. And to those of you out of towners reading, NAHA is worth the trip to Chicago, and should at least make it onto your to-do list during your next visit.
