LIMA | Parque del Amor is a small park on Lima’s coast in the Miraflores district. The park is dedicated to all lovers and offers sweeping views across the ocean. The walls of the park are covered in colourful murals and the centrepiece is a sculpture called “El Beso” (The Kiss) by sculptor Victor Delfín. It represents Delfín and his wife kissing, and is supposedly a reference to a competition which used to be held in the area to see which couple could sustain the longest kiss.
