The Curb Kaimuki, Kaimuki

HONOLULU | The Curb Kaimuki is one of the best places in Honolulu for lovers of good coffee to find a cup of the good stuff. Starting life as a food truck, The Curb is underpinned by passion for coffee. The team are across all aspects of the bean to cup process, working closely with coffee roasters Olympia, Onyx, and Cat & Cloud.

There’s coffee brewed every way you can think, with a wide array of espresso based drinks, and filter options. There’s also house-made syrups used for coffee infusions, teas, and house baked treats. Try the “A Lavender Matcha”. It’s a matcha latte made with Rishi’s organic “everyday matcha”, sweetened with house made Maui lavender syrup.

Before you leave, be sure to check out the retail wall. You can buy single origin coffee beans and blends, teas, and pantry items like chocolate and wine made from small, independent producers.

Paul founded The City Lane back in 2009 as a place to share photos of his travels around Europe with friends and family. The City Lane might have changed quite a lot since those early days but one thing that’s remained constant is Paul’s passion for food, travel and culture, and a desire to photograph and write about his experiences. Paul has a strong inquisitive nature that drives him to look beneath the surface in order to discover what really makes a city and its people tick, and what better way to do this than over a good meal or drink, with a city’s locals, at places that people who live in that city actually frequent. Paul is also a co-host of The Brunswick Beer Collective, a podcast that may or may not actually be about beer.
