LONDON | Tina, We Salute You’s main shindig is located up in E20 but the smaller orginal in Dalston manages to squeeze all their best bits into a smaller, more central package which we prefer in many ways. The brunch menu covers all your faves, from simple fresh fruit and granola to fresh avocado on toast with poached eggs, lime and chilli. But what makes this space so special is the constantly evolving artwork displayed throughout the cafe. Tina, We Salute You bring in local and international artists to take over the walls, bathrooms and wherever else they can squeeze in an installation. These guys celebrate creativity in every form so head down for some good eats as well as something more cultural.

Tina, We Salute You’s larger, newer space E20 East Village space, is well worth visiting too – they regularly host all kinds of interesting pop-up events and run kitchen residencies. Oh and there’s a full bar and cocktails there too.

Finally, if you’re wondering who Tina is, she features in a 1961 painting by J. H. Lynch that’s appeared in many places over the years. You might recognise her from Stanley Kubrick’s 1971 cult classic A Clockwork Orange or the cover of Edwyn Collin’s 1994 hit single “A Girl Like You”.
