NEW YORK CITY | Top Hops is a great craft beer bar in the Lower East Side that offers patrons a selection of local and international beers across its 20 taps and 700 plus bottle and can selection. Owner Tod Kenny, former financial markets worker come AB InBev sales executive decided to pack in the day job in 2010 and finally pursue his dream of owning his own craft beer venue.

The taps feature a rotating selection of local and imported beers, and tasting flights are offered. All of the bottles are available to drink in store with a small corkage fee, and growler refills are available if you want to bring anything on tap home. The staff are knowledgeable and passionate and will tell you anything you want to know about the beers on offer that day, while the bar’s dedication to clean lines and the cold chain means the beer here always tastes fresh.

For those who don’t feel like beer, Top Hops have some great wines and a few spirits and cocktails on offer. For those wanting something to eat, it’s bar snacks like cheeses, cured meats and soft pretzels, using locally sourced produce.

Along with selling beer, Top Hops also holds several educational beer classes, brewmaster tastings and more – keep an eye out on their website for details of upcoming classes and events.
