RECIPES | Grey Goose, the premium vodka isn’t a brand that needs much introduction. The clean, high quality vodka is a go to in my liquor cabinet when it comes to making vodka-based cocktails.

As part of the Virtual Travel Expo 2020, I collaborated with Grey Goose to create a cocktail. It was also an opportunity to check out their 2020 ‘City Collection’ featuring artwork showcasing Paris, London, Mumbai, Dubai, Sydney, Singapore and New York. Being in Australia, Sydney was the natural choice.

I went for a classic with a twist for this cocktail. A “dirty” Grey Goose vodka martini with the subtle floral notes offered by adding St Germain Elderflower Liqueur.

Preparation Time: 10 minutes / Cooking time: n/a / Serves: 1

Ingredients

  • 60ml Grey Goose vodka
  • 15ml Dry Vermouth
  • 5ml St Germain Elderflower Liqueur
  • 10ml green olive brine

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake well.
  2. Strain into a glass.
  3. Garnish with three green olives on a drink swizzler/skewer.

Notes

You can’t use any kind of olive for this, it needs to be the green ones otherwise the cocktail will taste odd.
