LAS VEGAS | Aces & Ales‘ East Side location in Sunrise Manor is a bar that takes craft beer very seriously. It’s aimed at the true craft beer connoisseur, with a 150+ bottle list featuring rare and vintage beers you’re unlikely to find anywhere else. Think things like Stone’s 2006 Vertical Epic Ale and Firestone Walker’s Parabola.

If you’re not into that sort of thing, and are just looking for a drop of something fresh and tasty on draft, there are 50 taps at Aces & Ales and they rotate weekly. From pilsners and imperial stouts to reds, hefeweizens, and IPAs, there’s something for everyone on tap, mostly from breweries on the west coast. If for some reason you don’t want beer and find yourself here, there’s also a very decent range of single malt Scotch, Bourbon, and Tequila.

Food is comfort food designed to go well with beer, and is made using fresh, locally sourced, ingredients. Try the cast iron skillet meatballs, which contain a 50/50 mix of ground chuck mince and applewood smoked bacon. And yes, there’s breakfast if you should find yourself here at an hour not usually reserved for drinking.

We usually hate it when the phrase “if you can only visit one place in…” is used, but in the case of Aces & Ales, the phrase rings true. If you can only visit one craft beer spot in Las Vegas, make sure it’s Aces & Ales. It’s open 24/7, so you really have no excuse not to visit.
