MELBOURNE | How often do you eat actual Victorian produce? It’s difficult to tell, but with Agriculture: The Heart of Victoria, we’re pretty certain you won’t have any trouble.
Agriculture: The Heart of Victoria is a three course dinner put on by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) and the Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) to spotlight the best of what Victorian agriculture has to offer. The menu is designed by The Atlantic Restaurant, and while we don’t know what is on the menu just yet, but as proud (and highly biased) Victorians, we’re guessing the taste will be worth it.
The dinner on Thursday the 9th of June and is MC’d by swimming (and superannuation) legend Giaan Rooney, and the guest speaker for the evening will be football (and jacket swinging) luminary Kevin Sheedy. You’ll find the evening down at Docklands (we know, Docklands!), but we’re told on good authority that there are trams and even Ubers that make their way there.
If Victorian produce is your thing, then Agriculture might just be your ticket, and tickets are on sale now.
