SAN FRANCISCO | The Bear vs Bull Bar is located in the Alamo Drafthouse – New Mission Theatre and offers cinema goers non-cinema goers alike a selection of California brewed beer, wine, and hand crafted cocktails in a unique cinematic Art Deco space.
You’ll find the bar tucked away to the side of the theatre’s lobby, and you don’t need to have a movie ticket to check it out. Bear vs Bull bar works well as a great little bar in its own right, with the selection of drinks on offer surprisingly strong. 26 taps, seven of which are rotating, feature beers across a wide range of style, while the wine list features 10 wines with something to please everyone. Cocktails are great, and riff off movie themes.
There’s an assortment of bar snacks too if you’re peckish. Think things like crab stuffed empanadas, grilled steak skewers, kimchi popcorn and hot chicken on a biscuit.
