PERTH | Boston Brewing Co have built up quite the reputation for brewing quality beers since opening in Denmark, Western Australia, in 2011. Being four and a half hours drive from their major market meant that if punters wanted to try the beers at the source, they had a bit of a journey to make.

In late 2019, Boston opened a tap room in Victoria Park, nice and close to Perth’s CBD. Inside the two level, light filled and family friendly venue, you’ll find 24 taps pouring Boston’s full range of beers. There’s also a Western Australian focused wine list, and cocktails made using local spirits.

Beers are available in three sizes – taster, small, and large, so you can make your own tasting paddle or commit to a full glass. Takeaways and growler refills are also offered. We highly recommend the Afterglose, a refreshing 4.5% ABV raspberry gose, and The Right, a 5.7% ABV nut brown ale. If you see the limited Double Afterglose, definitely grab it too. The Tingletop is also worth a try, it’s one of the best alcoholic ginger beers going around.

For food, it’s a menu of gastropub favourites that follow the brewery’s ethos of supporting local business and showcasing native ingredients. Think crispy skin WA snapper, maple roasted Dutch baby carrots, and WA Sassy Suffolk lamb shawarma.
