SANTIAGO | There are over 150 craft breweries in Chile, however finding the country’s best beers in Santiago can be surprisingly difficult. Enter Cervecería Nacional. This small bar in the city’s Yungay neighbourhood is one of the best craft beer spots in Santiago, with around 70 beers on offer across its 10 taps plus can/bottle selection.
Located inside a house dating back to 1929, the brick walled, wood beamed, sports-bar like venue has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they’re happy to chat about the local craft beer scene and recommend beers that you’re likely to want to try.
If you’re hungry, there’s a decent selection of pizza, sandwiches, cheese, and deli meats on the menu.
