MELBOURNE | I was pretty excited to attend the recent launch event at Domaine Chandon in the Yarra Valley. In pre COVID times I’d usually get up to the Yarra Valley a few times a year, but with that’s happened, I realised I’d not been for about three years. Definitely long overdue for a visit.
The reason for the event? To celebrate the launch of Chandon Garden Spritz Summer Sessions. Garden Spritz is the newest release from Chandon Australia. It’s a blend of their sparkling wine and orange bitters made with navel and blood oranges, dried orange peel, herbs and spices. It’s a tasty, refreshing summer drink.
Over the summer, you can head to the winery and enjoy it by itself, as part of a tasting flight, with a snack, platter, or picnic box, or with a full meal in a tent that’s popped up overlooking the vineyards.
I really enjoyed at afternoon of reconnecting with old friends and meeting new people, and can easily recommend Garden Spritz Summer Sessions if like I was, you’re ready to get back out to the Yarra Valley.
