Chandon Rooftop Bars Hit Melbourne

MELBOURNE | Do you like Champagne and canapes? Assuming the answer is yes (and why wouldn’t it be) you’ll be happy to know that Tuesday 5th April will see the launch of an exclusive Chandon pop-up at The Emerson Rooftop. Available from Tuesday to Thursday night throughout April from 5:00pm, guests will be invited to dine under the stars with a menu curated from Domaine Chandon’s Yarra Valley winery restaurant Greenpoint Brasserie, with wine pairings from Chandon’s illustrious list of still and sparkling wines.
The Emerson Rooftop will bring the vines of Chandon to South Yarra with a winery experience in the heart of Melbourne. An abundance of greenery and grape vines will have guests feeling as though they have been whisked away to Yarra Valley to sample some of Australia’s finest wines and gourmet food. A Chandon Cellar Door will offer guests a more traditional wine tasting experience including a selection of Pâté and premium Chandon wines, as well as the option for guests to purchase their favourite Cellar Door varieties.

Paul founded The City Lane back in 2009 as a place to share photos of his travels around Europe with friends and family. The City Lane might have changed quite a lot since those early days but one thing that’s remained constant is Paul’s passion for food, travel and culture, and a desire to photograph and write about his experiences. Paul has a strong inquisitive nature that drives him to look beneath the surface in order to discover what really makes a city and its people tick, and what better way to do this than over a good meal or drink, with a city’s locals, at places that people who live in that city actually frequent. Paul is also a co-host of The Brunswick Beer Collective, a podcast that may or may not actually be about beer.
