TOKYO | Craft Beer Market (Kichijoji) is one of several Craft Beer Market branches across Tokyo, and a great place to try an assortment of Japanese beers. It’s conveniently located just a minute walk from JR Kichijoji station on the north exit.

The interior is modern, with lots of concrete and wood. There’s 15 tables with seats, 14 stools at the open kitchen/bar, and a four standing tables near the entrance.

There are 30 taps here, and most of the beers are Japanese. Like the rest of the Craft Beer Market bars, the pricing structure is simple and competitive. All beers are the same price – ¥480 for a glass and ¥770 for a pint. Unfortunately tasting paddles and smaller sizes aren’t offered.

Each Craft Beer Market puts a slightly different spin on its food menu, and at the Kichijoji branch that spin is Chinese. Think noodles, char sui pork, and bao. There’s also favourites like ramen, gyoza, chips, and pizza.
