BRISBANE | Death And Taxes is a small bar in Brisbane, from the team behind popular bars Finney Isles, Savile Row, and Cobbler. It’s a speakeasy type venue, inspired by similar watering holes in London and Paris. Walk through the entrance to be greeted by a low lit venue with a long bar, wood panelling, and extensive 600+ bottle selection displayed behind. Further down, is a small section with comfy leather booths.
There’s literally hundreds of whiskeys on offer, along with around 70 gins, 50 rums, and other spirits. There’s also 40 wines, craft beer on tap, and a 30-strong cocktails list (that’s not including the classics).
There’s no kitchen on site, but you can order in food from any one of the great restaurants in the area.
