MELBOURNE | The Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) is back for 2016 and this year they’ve partnered with Grey Goose to ensure that film goers in need of a good drink don’t have to look far. For the duration of the festival you’ll be able to find Grey Goose’s signature cocktail the “Le Fizz” at a number of partner bars and food venues across the city – it’s Grey Goose Vodka shaken with St Germain Elderflower Liquer, freshly squeezed lime juice and soda water.
For those wanting something more, there will be a MIFF x Grey Goose pop-up at Mary Fortune on Flinders Lane.
At the popup, you’ll be able to choose from five film-inspired cocktails, and of course the Le Fizz. We sampled them all when we were invited to the popup preview and came away with 2 distinct favourites. “The Man With The Golden Goose” – a salted butter and hazelnut infused Grey Goose Vodka martini and “A Streetcar Named Desire” – Grey Goose Vodka shaken with fresh pressed lemon, Amarena cherry syrup and soda water.
The MIFF x Grey Goose popup opens today and will continue for the duration of MIFF (28 July – 14 August).
