LIMA | Jaya Brew Company is based in Lima and their Miraflores brewpub is a great spot for those who might have a crowd of non-craft beer drinkers with them and need somewhere that will make everyone happy. The space is large and industrial, with the brewing equipment in full view and a courtyard area out the front with games and shisha. There’s table service which is both friendly and efficient.
There are a few core range beers on tap and in bottles at any given time, along with some seasonal releases. The beers are decent, but there’s nothing here that will blow you away. There’s a decent spirits and cocktail list too.
The food at Jaya is very tasty – think things like burgers, fried chicken, steak, and paella. Add to this some great music and a cheerful, party yet chilled vibe, and, as stated earlier, Jaya actually isn’t a bad place to come with a few non-craft beer loving friends for a drink or two. For us it’s more of a finish the night rather than start the night kind of place, and there’s nothing wrong with that.
