MELBOURNE | I first tried @jackmuirr21 and @thesiberiancuttlefish‘s bagels during lockdown 1.0, when they were operating out of Etta. During lockdown 2.0 they launched as Masses Bagels, delivering across Melbourne.
They’re some of the best bagels I’ve had in Melbourne, with unique toppings like sundried slippery jack and parmesan, black sesame and dill, and white pepper and seeds.
With hospo opening up again, Jack and Carmen are busy with their full time jobs, but don’t worry, the bagel pause is only temporary. They’re actively looking for a physical location for Masses and, if all goes to plan, they’ll be opening up full time next year.
