MELBOURNE| Mediterranean Wholesalers Brunswick is an institution and has been providing the people of Melbourne all kinds of foods and products from Italy since 1961. As Australia’s largest ‘Continental food store’, this is the place to go if you want to find anything Italian for your kitchen, and we’re here every other week to restock our pantry.

Want pasta? These guys sell over 250 varieties. Want tinned tomatoes? There must be close to 100 different kinds. All kinds of different rice, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, flour, roasted and pickled things in jars – it’s all here, and the prices are very good.

As well as packaged products, Mediterranean Wholesalers also have a fantastic deli section. You’ll find Italian prosciutto, salami, ham, and assortment of other smallgoods. In the cheese section you’ll find Italian specialty regional cheeses like Parmigiano Reggiano & sheep’s milk Pecorino from Sicily, buffalo mozzarella and more. There’s also a fantastic alcohol selection filled with Italian wine, beer and liqueur, and a cafe where you can get freshly made coffee, pastries and cakes, and a bakery section for all your Italian bread needs.

Beyond food, there’s also things like pasta makers, stove top espresso makers, ceramic donkeys, washing detergent, pots, pans and more.
