MELBOURNE | The folks at Patisserie by JC delivered a selection of treats to my house the other day. It’s a Melbourne based online patisserie, started by JC, a pastry chef who has worked in kitchens in Australia, Paris, Rome, Lake Como, and London.
JC’s team features a group of Aussie pastry chefs who trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and were working overseas, but returned home due to the pandemic. On their website, you’ll find an assortment of sweet treats, made and delivered fresh to order each day. You can also pick up your order from their kitchen in Abbotsford.
I enjoyed the chocolate swirl New York style cheesecake, the Chantilly cream and chocolate eclair, and an assortment of Madelines. I enjoyed all of the treats, in particular the chocolate eclair, which transported me enjoying my favourite type of French pasty in Paris. If you’re a fan of French pastries, Patisserie by JC is definitely worth a try.
