MELBOURNE | As Christmas approaches, we at The City Lane look forward to taking some time off and enjoying good food, drink and times with family and friends. We know that we are in a very lucky position, getting to try some of the best food and drink that Melbourne and the world has to offer throughout the year. Of course, there are many who aren’t as lucky, for whom putting a healthy home cooked meal on the table is a challenge.

2016 sees the return of Wesley Mission Victoria’sFood For Families” campaign for its 25th year and we’re proud to support this wonderful campaign. If you’re not aware of the campaign, it’s super simple. You can help families in need by filling a collection bag or box with donations of non-perishable food and toiletries in the lead up to Christmas. Your donations will go directly to local people who are experiencing hard times, making sure they have a meal on the table at Christmas and access to food all year long.

Every Tuesday and Friday throughout December office workers in Melbourne’s CBD can deliver their non-perishable donations to the Wesley Church, 148 Lonsdale Street, Melbourne between 12:00pm and 2:00pm.

To find out more and get involved in Food for Families this year, register for a collection box or bag at the Food For Families website.
