LOS ANGELES | If you find yourself in tourist central, LA, and are in need of a quality cup of coffee to help you survive the crowds, Rise-N-Grind is one of your best bets. Located along the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Rise-N-Grind is an industrial themed cafe that serves quality cups of Stumptown Coffee, brewed almost any way you can think of, including two cold brews on tap.
For those in the mood for something less alcoholic, there are smoothies, a range of teas from Art of Tea, and cold pressed juices by Pressed Juicery. Danishes, pastries and cakes are brought in by the always reliable Homeboy Bakery, and a range of salads, paninis, sandwiches and breakfast dishes are also available.
Owner Robert Vinokur, grew up in New York City and drew his inspiration from there and his travels around Europe. He describes Rise-N-Grind as “a place for people to meet and hang out without the loud music or the alcohol or anything like that”. We’ll happily sip a coffee to that.
