CHICAGO | If you are looking for a more casual rooftop vibe, head to Rock Bottom Brewery in River North. Many might think of Rock Bottom solely as a national name in craft beer, but the River North location offers a rooftop respite steps away from the Magnificent Mile.
Rock Bottom Brewery was born in Denver, Colorado almost 25 years ago, and as one of the first movers on the craft beer scene, their success has seen them expand nationwide after winning numerous awards for their beer. There’s a constantly rotating selection of core range, seasonal, and one-off beers on draft at the Chicago location. We enjoy the juicy, tropical Mango Shark, a Belgian IPA brewed with Munich & Flaked Rye malts, and the refreshing Rooftop Weissbier, a small batch seasonal beer brewed on-site for the summer. For those who don’t like beer, there’s a small selection of wines and cocktails on offer too.
If you feel like staying on for dinner, there is a full offering of upscale pub fare – pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, taco, mac & cheese and the like.
