LOS ANGELES | Sage Plant Based Bistro & Brewery is an organic, plant-based restaurant and brewery that serves up beer and food that appeals to vegans and meat eaters alike. Sage partners with local farmers three times a week, and tailor our menu based on what’s seasonal and good at the time.

The menu is full of interesting, flavour filled items. Think avocado halves stuffed with jackfruit ‘carnitas’, topped with cilantro, onion, habanero cream ‘cheese’, garlic aioli, and lime, a hot ‘wing’ wrap with tempura fried cauliflower in spicy buffalo sauce, celery, avocado, onion and carrots on a bed of mixed baby greens with a side of ranch sauce, and organic wild blueberry and banana pancakes topped with blueberry maple syrup.

On the beer side, there’s six fermentation tanks on site, and the 36 taps feature mostly beers brewed on site. There are some really interesting beers available, which rotate regularly and are designed in sync with the ingredients that the kitchen is using amongst other things. Try the 5.4% ABV Rosewater Cream Ale, and the 4.7% ABV Habanero Pilsner. Guest taps feature beers from the likes of Allagash, Three Weavers, and Smog City.
