MELBOURNE | The Ascot Lot is a food truck park on the site of a former car yard in Ascot Vale. It’s a large, relaxed venue with a variety of spaces made using recycled furniture and materials. The spaces are covered and open, with several bars offering some delicious drinks. $10 espresso martinis on tap are very popular, and there’s a focused selection of craft beer and wines.
Each week, a rotating selection of food trucks sets up shop to serve punters an assortment of food. Think burritos from Burrito Bae, jaffles from The Bearded Jaffle, and momos from Moskew Momo. You can check their socials for details on upcoming trucks.
Each day has a different offering to keep punters entertained. Think live DJs and bands, trivia, drag bingo, and vegan nights. There’s also several TVs dotted about for those who want to keep up-to-date with the latest sports results.
