AUSTIN | Wright Bros Brew & Brew differs from many craft beer venues, and that difference can be seen in the name. The “brew and brew” refers to coffee and beer – Wright Bros specialises in serving up the best of both kinds of brew. The space is simple and makes good use of brick and wood. In fact, almost everything was done by local designers and craftspeople. The aim was for the place to feel fresh, yet like it had been around for a while.

Beer wise it’s mostly local beer rotating across the 40 taps along with some beers from other states and abroad. Most styles are covered here, with the board listing beers according to colour and hoppiness. The Greenhouse series beers from Hops & Grain also appear on tap here so you know there will always be something new and unique. Staff are well versed in everything on offer and are always up for a chat and to help guide your choices if you need.

On the coffee side beans mostly come from local roaster Flat Track (Flat Track owner Matthew Bolick’s oversees the coffee program at Wright Bros) but beans from other independent roasters both local and from across the nation can sometimes be found too. You can enjoy your coffee brewed almost any way you want. For us a cold brew always does the trick on a hot Austin day.

Tea, wine, cider, and a little bit of food is also offered and is more than an afterthough too. While the other offerings aren’t extensive, they’re all about quality – check out the breakfast tacos from Pueblo Viejo or the Kerlin BBQ’s brisket & cheddar kolaches.
