LAS VEGAS | Zoozacrackers Deli at The Wynn on The Strip is a a casual eatery accessible off the casino floor. The venue serves New York deli style fare with an array of comfort food from buffalo wings to the classic Reuben to Manhattan style clam chowder. The venue is designed is rather homely, with large booths, comfortable chairs and plenty of flat screen televisions it is a good place to settle in for a casual, late night meal or a break from the hustle and bustle of the strip.
A friend recommended we try the Reuben at Zoozacrackers, so we decided to give it a go. The Reuben came out with a large quantity of pastrami served on toasted wholemeal bread, with a pickle on the side. The pastrami in the Reuben is tender, trimmed and as a whole it’s a tasty sandwich however it does not compare to the flavour you would expect from a Katz Deli or Frankel’s Delicatessen. If you walk in with the idea of a getting a traditional Reuben sandwich you will leave disappointed. Nonetheless it’s still a tasty, inexpensive sandwich. The buffalo wings here also hit the spot. Sure there are better out there but in context, they’re what you want.
Zoozacrackers Deli is a good option if you are looking for an inexpensive, casual meal and want acceptable New York style deli fare while in Vegas. Well worth a visit if you’re looking for somewhere to watch the big game and want food to match.
