TOKYO | Blue Bottle Coffee Shinjuku is one of the newest Blue Bottle branches in Tokyo, located inside the trendy NEWoMan shopping centre. It’s a busy store, understandably so given its location right near Shinjuku station. Jo Nagasaka from Schemata Architects has designed a light, airy, open space with lots of white and everything where possible at waist level, to further enhance the openness of the space.
As with all Blue Bottle Coffee locations, the coffee here is of the highest quality, sustainable and ethically sourced by farmers around the world. Espresso or filter, hot or cold, or anything else you can imagine, Blue Bottle offers coffee brewed any way you like, and you’re always guaranteed a good drop here. As well as coffee, a small selection of pastries, cakes, and sandwiches are offered. Coffee and food can be enjoyed in the cafe or taken away, and beans and an assortment of coffee equipment are also for sale.
