BREW’d Craft Pub, Kaimuki

HONOLULU | BREW’d Craft Pub has been a popular watering hole for lovers of craft beer since 2014, when it opened in Kaimuki. It’s a cosy local’s spot, with friendly staff and a welcoming vibe. The space, with warm timber fixtures, assorted beer and other paraphernalia, and warm lighting, completes the feel.

The concept is simple. To offer one of Honolulu’s best craft beer selections, and tasty pub food. There’s 25 rotating beers on tap, featuring a diverse assortment of brews from predominantly Hawaii and other US states. It’s complimented with a few beers from elsewhere in the world. If you want something that’s not on tap, there’s a selection of over 100 cans and bottles in the fridges to keep you satisfied.

If beer isn’t your thing, there’s a tidy selection of cocktails on the menu, with something to suit all tastes. For food, it’s tasty pub meals like IPA brined chicken wings, poutine, fish and chips, and burgers.

Paul founded The City Lane back in 2009 as a place to share photos of his travels around Europe with friends and family. The City Lane might have changed quite a lot since those early days but one thing that’s remained constant is Paul’s passion for food, travel and culture, and a desire to photograph and write about his experiences. Paul has a strong inquisitive nature that drives him to look beneath the surface in order to discover what really makes a city and its people tick, and what better way to do this than over a good meal or drink, with a city’s locals, at places that people who live in that city actually frequent. Paul is also a co-host of The Brunswick Beer Collective, a podcast that may or may not actually be about beer.
