RECIPES | This chai tequila slushie is a great drink for a warm summer day. It’s really refreshing and the light blend of chai spices add a fragrant touch, reminiscent of summer’s on the Indian coast.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes / Cooking Time: 30 minutes / Serves: 4-6
- 3 tbsp honey
- 4 tbsp loose leaf chai tea
- 150ml tequila
- 1L hot water
- Place all the ingredients into a pot and bring to the boil over medium heat.
- Remove from the heat and allow to cool slightly for 5 minutes.
- Strain the mixture.
- Place in an ice-cream maker and allow it to churn for roughly 20 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
Beware, this one hides the high alcohol content really well and is super easy to drink!
