MELBOURNE | I’m a big fan of the tasty Thai food at the original Melbourne location of Dodee Paidang, but hadn’t been to their second, Swanston Street location before. I was out and about snapping photos for What’s On Melbourne the other night, and when I wrapped up and was feeling peckish, Dodee was exactly what I was craving.
The space is smaller than the original basement laneway location, but still features a great, albeit smaller, selection of Thai dishes, friendly service, and live music at night.
I went for a serve of moo ping (grilled pork neck skewers) and the Monster level of their delicious signature Tom Yum noodles. These noodles are no joke, Monster is the first level of heat and even they are spicy! The hottest is level seven, Super Nova. I’ve only gotten as high as level two, Devil.
