Ice-Cream Donut Popup Is Coming To Melbourne

MELBOURNE | The City Lane are very proud to announce the details of our brand-new Ice-Cream Donut popup, coming to The Strand in Melbourne’s CBD right in time to help you get through your Christmas shopping.

If you’ve been watching our social media recently, you might have noticed a photo or two roll by, so here are the details. The ice-cream donut sandwiches will come in 3 flavours including Turkish Delight Cheesecake, Peanut Butter and Crispy Dark Chocolate, and Orange and Cardamom, with each designed especially for the popup by The City Lane’s own Lauren Kristoff, the mastermind behind the now-legendary Nutella S’mores.

‘After the overwhelming success of the Nutella popup, we knew we wanted to do something big and we knew we wanted to do it in summer,’ said The City Lane founder and Editor-in-Chief, Paul Kristoff, ‘and when Lauren started creating these ice cream flavours, it all started to fall in place.’

We’ve also partnered with our good friends at Temple Brewing Company in East Brunswick to offer those in need of refreshment a selection of matched beers including the New World Order American Stout, the Bicycle Summer Ale, and the Rye Hard IPA (appropriately named after the classic Christmas movie, Die Hard).

Christmas is a time for giving (just look any Christmas movie, well except Die Hard), but if you’re weary of finding things to give, or if you’re expecting to be weary and need a little motivation to get started, an ice-cream donut or two might be just what will get you over the line. We at The City Lane strongly recommend it, obviously.
