CALULU | Lightfoot & Sons is a family owned and operated East Gippsland vineyard, winery and cellar door. It was established in 1995 by Brian and Helen Lightfoot, and is today managed by sons Rob and Tom.
The winery specialises in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Shiraz. The three varietals are well suited to the Myrtle Point Vineyard, which is positioned high on an exposed plateau of Terra Rosa soil above a limestone bluff above the Mitchell River and Lindenow Valley.
At the cellar door, you can enjoy wine tastings, and platters featuring local produce. The view, which overlooks the vineyard and Lindenow Valley, is stunning.
All Lightfoot & Sons wines are made sustainably, and are 100 per cent Estate grown, made and bottled. They reflect the unique character of the Myrtle Point Vineyard and the Gippsland Lakes District. It’s almost guaranteed you’ll want to grab a bottle or more to take away.
