LONDON | Redchurch Brewery Bethnal Green has a tap room that’s been set up on the mezzanine level of the brewery and it’s one of our favourite brewery bars in London. It’s a bare bones space, with crates serving as table and chairs, overlooking the lane way through the large railway arch windows. The beers are fantastic and include Redchurch’s core range along with a variety of seasonal and one off brews. There are generally 10 beers on tap at any given time along with a few different bottles.
The Shoreditch Blonde and Bethnal Green Pale Ale are two of our go-to local beers and on tap at the source they taste better than ever. If you can find them, and are a bit adventurous in your tastes, try one of the “Wild Series” beers, which are breweed with wild yeasts, mixed and bacterial fermentation and foraged and cultivated ingredients.
There’s often a food truck out the front for those who are hungry, while music is taken care of by either a DJ, or punters choosing the vinyl on the decks. And if you’re interested, you can also book a 45 minute brewery tour which includes samples of the good stuff.
