S05E08: Three Idiots Brew A Beer

PODCAST | In this failed attempt at a two-part episode, the Collective ventures out of its comfort zone and into the country to brew a beer with 7 cent Brewery, talks about Europe’s favourite lager, and notes the amazingness of two new breweries that have appeared recently. We also drink two beers of a four-beer box set.

And if that wasn’t enough, we end with an almighty cliffhanger but then due to technical difficulties Chris instead ends up explaining the whole thing directly. It’s kind of like if someone leaned over your shoulder halfway through The Sixth Sense and told you the ending (Bruce Willis’ character is actually dead).

We’re off for 3 weeks, but we’ll talk to you in September.

Featured beers: Single Hop IPA – Summer and Single Hop IPA – Ella by Bridge Road Brewers.

Chris is an editor, writer, and occasional novelist who in a former life published online magazines for a living while working out of obscure coffee shops. He has travelled extensively and has eaten and enjoyed exotic delights ranging from instant ‘just add water’ potatoes while on a Russian train to snails and Brie from a tiny Montreal kitchen. Chris is a great lover of the experiences around and associated with food and believes the culture of a venue, as quirky or strange as it might be, is just as important as the food it sells. He is also a co-host of The Brunswick Beer Collective, a podcast dedicated to the lighter side of craft beer.
