SYDNEY | Small Batch by Batch Brewing Co. is the second brewery and taproom from Marrickville’s Batch Brewing Co. It opened in 2019 at Batch’s test facility, and it’s here where you’ll find a lot of Batch’s experimental beers in the making, before (if ever) they do into full production at the bigger site.
The tap list is always rotating, but the core range of Marrickville beers in available for those who want something familiar. Tasting paddles are offered for those who want to try a few things, and there’s also take away cans and growler refills.
Beers you might expect to find on tap here are things like a Strawberry Gin Sour, brewed in collaboration with nearby Poor Toms Gin, a dark sour featuring cold brew Ethiopian coffee and blackcurrants, and a mango and habanero NEIPA.
Small Batch is located behind Public House Petersham, and you can also order any drinks that you like from the pub’s menu. The pub’s food menu is also where you’ll want to look if you want a bite to eat. It works the other way too for drinks. If you’re at the pub and want one of the Batch beers, you can grab it and bring it over to the pub’s beer garden.
